We had some snacks and beautiful cupcakes, then we quickly opened presents. We work in a customer service center, so the phones still have to be manned during a party! :)

Saturday we made the hour and a half drive to Madill, Oklahoma for the National Sandbass Festival. Don't act like you're not impressed! :) Country artist Sammy Kershaw was playing, and he decided to check out his show. He just so happened to be my hubby's baseball coach in his younger years (small world!). He is a character for sure. He still puts on a great show - the weather was nice, the crowd was great - it was such a fun evening.
AND, Sunday, we went to a birthday party for a special pair of kiddos. April and her husband, Brad have the sweetest twins, and they were turning two. We all went to high school together, and I am so grateful we are still in touch. April and Brad share our understanding of the infertility journey. Abby and Cohen were born TEN weeks early, but are happy and healthy.
I am tired after such a weekend, but it was well worth it. I am sorta happy to say I don't have any doctor appointments this week (mostly just because I can avoid a co-pay for a week!) :) But we start up again next week with blood tests....the journey continues!
Have a wonderful week!
